Flea market on the banks of the Cher

Every summer in July, the Comité d'Animation de Saint-Georges-sur-Cher organizes its large flea market on the banks of the Cher, at the site of the former municipal campsite and beach. This natural, shaded setting, by the river, offers a pleasant environment for a summer treasure hunting day.

A wine village in the Cher Valley

Saint-Georges-sur-Cher is a wine-producing commune in the Cher Valley, between Montrichard and Amboise. Its vineyards produce wines with the Touraine appellation, and the village retains an authentic rural heritage with its troglodyte cellars and tuffeau stone houses.

Exhibitor information

The pitch is offered at 12 euros for 5 meters. Exhibitors set up from 8 a.m. for a day that lasts until 7 p.m. On-site catering, provided by the animation committee, offers grills and cold drinks.
