The unmissable flea market of Bletterans, twice a year for 28 editions
For over 28 editions, the Bletterans flea market has established itself as a key event for bargain hunters in the south of Jura. Organized by the association Les Amis de la Brocante, it is held twice a year — in spring and autumn — in the picturesque setting of the covered market and the Salle de la Tourniole, rue de la Demi-Lune.
What makes this flea market rich is the diversity of its exhibitors: professional antique dealers rub shoulders with individuals passionate about collections. You can find antiques, old and vintage furniture, tableware, stamps, old postcards, rare books, vinyl records, and all sorts of curiosities. Each edition holds its share of great finds for both informed amateurs and novices.
Located in the heart of Jura Bresse, Bletterans is a lively small town with a pleasant setting. The covered market, with its beautiful wooden frame, offers an ideal space for a sheltered flea market, complemented by the adjacent Salle de la Tourniole. Exhibitors offer their stalls outside for €2 per meter and inside for €5 to €7 per meter. Each exhibitor receives a coffee and a slice of brioche as a welcome — a warm gesture typical of Jura hospitality.
