Every July 14th, while France celebrates its national holiday, Gourdon offers its residents and visitors a doubly festive event: the grand Collectors' Flea Market, organized by the Gourdon Collectors Association. On boulevard Galliot de Genouilhac, an avenue bordering the medieval town, a grand flea market celebration takes place for an entire day of collecting and treasure hunting.

40th anniversary: a well-established tradition

The Gourdon July 14th Flea Market is one of the oldest events of its kind in Quercy. In 2025, the Gourdon Collectors Association celebrated its 40th flea market, a sign of a firmly established tradition in Gourdon's festive calendar. Over the decades, the event has built a reputation for quality and consistency that earns it a loyal clientele of collectors and antique enthusiasts.

Around 90 professional exhibitors

The Gourdon July 14th Flea Market is distinguished by the quality of its exhibitors: around 90 flea market and antique professionals set up on boulevard Galliot de Genouilhac to offer characterful furniture, tableware and table arts, tools and antique objects, books and documentation, vintage clothing and textiles, and interior decoration items. The majority presence of professionals guarantees a coherent and high-level offering, which distinguishes this flea market from simple car boot sales.

A festive day under the July sun

The July 14th day in Gourdon combines a flea market with festivities: musical entertainment, a raffle with many prizes to be won, and on-site catering. The atmosphere is that of a true popular festival, in the sumptuous setting of this bastide perched on its rocky outcrop overlooking the valleys of Quercy Noir. The flea market runs from 8 am to 6 pm, in the long summer light of July. Free entry for all visitors.
