Annual flea market throughout the village of Chauvency-le-Château, with entertainment
The association Chauvency le Château Loisirs organizes a flea market every year that takes over the entire village. From 7 am to 7 pm, exhibitors set up along Rue Nationale and in the adjacent streets of this picturesque fortified village in the north of Meuse.
Chauvency-le-Château takes its name from its former medieval castle, some remains of which are still visible. Located in the Pays de Montmédy, on the Belgian border, the village retains remarkable rural heritage with its stone houses, its church, and its washhouse. The hilly landscape of the Loison valley offers a bucolic setting for this event.
Beyond the flea market, the event offers various entertainment that livens up the day. The refreshment stand and on-site catering allow you to fully enjoy this day of treasure hunting in a rural setting. The very affordable rate of 1 euro per meter encourages the participation of many exhibitors.
