Le Portel, a small seaside resort nestled in a cove at the foot of the cliffs, offers a charming setting for a flea market and car boot sale in the heart of summer. Exhibitors set up their stalls near the beach and the seafront, creating a unique atmosphere combining sea air and good deals. You can find everything here: old tableware, seaside trinkets, summer clothes, toys, and decorative objects.

Le Portel retains a strong identity, inherited from its past as a fishing village. Its traditions, such as sea festivals and maritime processions, testify to a deep attachment to the community. The summer flea market is part of this warm neighborhood life, between permanent residents and vacationers.
Brocante Le Portel July — edition 2026
The big summer event for bargain hunters in Le Portel: the central street market and flea market returns on Sunday, July 12, 2026. Individuals and professionals set up their stalls in the town centre streets, just a stone's throw from the sea.
Organised by Le Portel Anim, this summer street market, open to both individuals and professionals, takes over the centre of Le Portel: Boulevard Pasteur, Place Poincaré, Rue Faidherbe, Rue Lieutenant Robert, Rue Victor Hugo and Rue Auguste Justin.
Bargain hunters will find trinkets, clothes, toys, crockery and small furniture, all in the seaside atmosphere of the Côte d'Opale. Exhibitor pitches are charged at €3 per meter (3 meters maximum), plus a €4 registration fee.
Registrations are taken at Café le Rétro, Place Poincaré: from June 16 to 28 for residents of Le Portel, then from July 1 to 19 for external exhibitors. For information, call 06 79 40 94 58 or 06 63 84 30 77.
