The brocante and car boot sale of Brengues is held at the village campsite, an exceptional natural setting on the banks of the Célé. Far from urban car boot sales, this one offers the special atmosphere of open-air markets in a rural setting: fresh grass, shade from trees, the sound of the river in the background. Private sellers and flea market dealers set up from 7 am to 6 pm, offering crockery, clothes, books, tools, furniture, and various curiosities.

Brengues, an open-air museum village

Brengues has rare heritage richness for such a small village. Its open-air ecomuseum invites visitors to discover a district with authentic flavors: the "sémalier" house (chestnut dryer), a chestnut dryer, a prune oven, a walnut oil mill with its traditional press, a period classroom, and a clog maker's workshop. This living museum testifies to the rural life of Quercy in the past. The "Château des Anglais", built against a rock shelter, completes this remarkable heritage.
