The APE of Bois-d'Amont Flea Market

Every first weekend of September, on the occasion of the patronal festival, the village of Bois-d'Amont hosts a flea market and car boot sale organized by the Association of Parents of Students (APE). Located at 1050 meters altitude in the Haut-Jura, a stone's throw from the Swiss border, the village offers an exceptional natural setting for this day of treasure hunting.

Treasure Hunting in the Mountains

Exhibitors, mainly individuals from the Haut-Jura, offer a variety of items: mountain clothing, ski equipment, toys, tableware, books, and trinkets. The atmosphere is that of a mountain village flea market, friendly and authentic, where conversations flow between locals and visitors.

For the Benefit of the School

The profits from the event are entirely donated to the school activities of the Bois-d'Amont school. The APE thus finances educational outings, shows, and teaching materials for the village children. It is a moment of community solidarity that mobilizes parents and residents.

Bois-d'Amont is a winter and summer sports resort in the Haut-Jura, famous for its cross-country skiing trails of the Transjurassienne and its Musée de la Boissellerie.
