Grand flea market and antiques exhibition-sale at the Casino des Eaux-Bonnes, for the benefit of children in Benin
The Brocante Antiquités des Eaux-Bonnes is a large exhibition-sale held every summer in the cultural space of the historic Casino of this Pyrenean spa town. Organized by the association Solidarité Enfance Bénin, it offers for 10 days in early August a selection of antiques, old furniture, decorative objects, and curiosities. The profits are donated to humanitarian projects for street children in Benin.
The Casino des Eaux-Bonnes, a magnificent 1883 building, hosts a grand flea market and antiques exhibition-sale every summer. For 10 days, the casino's exhibition hall is transformed into an elegant treasure hunting space, offering antique furniture, trinkets, tableware, books, and collector's items.
The association Solidarité Enfance Bénin (formerly Benin Espoirs) organizes this event, the profits of which fund projects for street children in Benin: schooling, vocational training, and accommodation.
Les Eaux-Bonnes is a historic spa town in the Ossau Valley, at an altitude of 750 m in the Pyrenees. Its Belle Époque architecture, its thermal baths, and its proximity to the Gourette ski resort make it an unusual and charming holiday destination.
