The 40th Brocante and Sabot Fair of Buironfosse was held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, on the Place de la République. The Amicale du Musée du Sabot organized this anniversary edition, combining an outdoor flea market with the promotion of the clog-making heritage of Thiérache. The Musée du Sabot offered traditional clog-making demonstrations to visitors from all over the region.

Looking Back at the 40th Edition
On Sunday, May 4, 2025, Buironfosse celebrated the 40th edition of its Brocante and Sabot Fair. On the Place de la République and in the village streets, flea market vendors were alongside artisans and stands from the Musée du Sabot for a day full of discoveries.
This anniversary edition attracted a large crowd, eager to discover the heritage of the 360 master clog makers that Buironfosse had in the 19th century. The clog-making demonstrations, the varied flea market, and the festive atmosphere of Thiérache made this day a highlight of the local calendar.
