Bric-à-brac of the association Les Aubépines d'Illiers-Combray

In March 2025, the association Les Aubépines organized its annual bric-à-brac on avenue Georges Clémenceau in Illiers-Combray. From 8 am to 6 pm, exhibitors and bargain hunters animated this street in Proust's town for a day of car boot sale under the spring sun. Furniture, crockery, books, clothes, tools, and objects of all kinds were offered to the many visitors from the Chartres region and beyond. The pitches, reserved in advance at a price of €2.50/m, were snapped up well before the date. A successful edition for this association that is part of Illiers-Combray's associative heritage.
