Solidarity sale by Secours Populaire, trinkets, books, furniture and clothes in Chamberet
In the heart of the village of Chamberet, a small town in Haute-Corrèze nestled at the foot of Mont Gargan, the Secours Populaire français runs a permanent Bric à Brac at its premises at 45 route du Mont Gargan. This solidarity sale offers a wide selection of second-hand items at very affordable prices: trinkets, books, shoes, household linens, clothing, furniture, small appliances, and tableware.
The Bric à Brac is open every Wednesday from 1:30 PM to 5 PM and the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 2 PM to 5 PM. This bi-weekly schedule allows residents of Chamberet and surrounding areas to regularly find bargains while supporting a good cause. Entry is free.
Located at an altitude of 450 meters on the foothills of the plateau de Millevaches, Chamberet is a commune in Corrèze with about 1,300 inhabitants, known for its proximity to Mont Gargan (731 m), a significant memorial site of the Resistance. The Secours Populaire's Bric à Brac is a popular event for bargain hunters in the area, offering a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
All proceeds from the Bric à Brac are donated to the actions of the Secours Populaire de la Corrèze, which works daily to help people in need. Every purchase thus directly contributes to local solidarity.
