Every first Sunday of September, the Centre Socio-Culturel de Briare (square Pierre-Armand Thiébaut) hosts the exchange fair for miniature cars and antique toys organized by the association Passion Miniature Briare. This unique event in the Loiret region brings together collectors, enthusiasts, and the curious around a common passion: vintage toys and automotive miniatures.

A tribute to the Compagnie Industrielle du Jouet (CIJ)

The Briare Fair pays a special tribute to the Compagnie Industrielle du Jouet (CIJ), a French toy manufacturer whose productions are particularly prized by collectors. Founded in France, CIJ produced dozens of models of miniature cars and other metal toys that are now genuine collector's items. The Briare fair is one of the few events in Centre-Val de Loire dedicated to this industrial and cultural heritage.

An event for all ages

The Briare exchange fair is aimed at seasoned collectors, novice enthusiasts, and children alike. Rare collector's items are found alongside more accessible miniatures, allowing everyone to find something to their liking according to their budget and level of passion. Children under 10 enter for free, a special gesture to pass on the passion for vintage toys to the younger generation.

The fair benefits from the participation of Éric Mortier, a recognized organizer of the Bourse d'Orléans and an expert in automotive miniatures. His presence guarantees the quality and authenticity of the items offered, and allows visitors to benefit from informed advice on their finds or collections.
