Grand summer street sale in the heart of the medieval town of Cher
The Braderie de Saint-Aignan takes place every summer in August in the streets of this charming medieval town on the banks of the Cher. Shopkeepers and individuals take over the town center to offer great deals and end-of-series items. Saint-Aignan, dominated by its Renaissance castle and its Romanesque collegiate church, offers a remarkable heritage setting for this open-air shopping day.
Saint-Aignan, a medieval jewel in the south of Loir-et-Cher, hosts its traditional street sale every summer in the streets of the town center. This day allows local shopkeepers to offer end-of-series items and exceptional promotions, while occasional exhibitors complete the offer with various items.
Located at the foot of the Renaissance castle and the collegiate church of Saint-Aignan, listed as a historic monument for its unique Romanesque frescoes, the street sale takes place in an incomparable historical setting. The cobbled streets of the medieval village, the half-timbered houses, and the view of the Cher valley add to the charm of this day.
Beyond the great deals, the Braderie de Saint-Aignan is a moment of conviviality. On-site catering, musical entertainment, and a festive atmosphere punctuate this summer day. The proximity of the ZooParc de Beauval, just 4 km away, also attracts many visitors passing through.
The Braderie de Saint-Aignan returns in August 2026 in the streets of the historic town center, at the foot of the Renaissance castle.
