Summer flea market on the Place de la Paix in Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher
The August 2nd flea market of Saint-Aignan brings together professional and private exhibitors on the Place de la Paix, in the heart of this medieval town bordering the Cher. This summer event complements the rich calendar of events in Saint-Aignan, a town renowned for its historical heritage and its proximity to the Beauval Zoo.
Each summer, Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher offers an additional flea market in early August, complementing its well-established monthly flea market. This event is held on the Place de la Paix, the usual venue for markets and gatherings in the town.
Treasure hunters enjoy the exceptional setting of Saint-Aignan, dominated by its Renaissance castle perched on its promontory. The stalls offer a mix of flea market finds, collectibles, trinkets, and second-hand items. The summer atmosphere and the tourist traffic linked to the nearby Beauval Zoo ensure good attendance.
Saint-Aignan is one of the most picturesque towns in the south of Loir-et-Cher. Its Romanesque collegiate church with exceptional frescoes, its troglodyte houses, and its developed quays along the Cher make it an ideal place for a stroll after treasure hunting.
The summer flea market of Saint-Aignan returns in August 2026 to the Place de la Paix.
