Brad'Bruche, a major event in the Bruche valley

The Brad'Bruche in Urmatt is one of the largest clearance sales in the Bruche valley. Organized for many years by the Municipal Office of Sports, Culture and Leisure, it brings together private sellers and professionals who come to display their treasures in the streets of the village center. The 2026 edition takes place on Monday, May 25, taking advantage of the public holiday weekend to attract a large crowd of bargain hunters from all over Alsace and beyond.

A wide variety of items

The Brad'Bruche stalls offer a great diversity of items: antique furniture, crockery, porcelain, crystal, silverware, knick-knacks, vinyl records, cassettes, CDs, old books, comics, vintage clothing, tin toys, postcards, photographs, lamps, clocks, old tools and Alsatian souvenirs.

Festive atmosphere and Alsatian cuisine

Throughout the day, the bar and food stands run by volunteers delight visitors with iconic Alsatian specialties: grilled meats, merguez, fries, ham braised in Riesling, flammekueche, pretzels, local beers and Alsatian wines.

Urmatt is a commune of about 1,500 inhabitants located in the picturesque Bruche valley, about thirty kilometers southwest of Strasbourg. Crossed by the Bruche river and bordered by the wooded foothills of the Vosges, the commune benefits from a remarkable natural setting.
