The military history fair of Jougne, a village in the Jura pass on the Swiss border, Haut-Doubs
On May 2, 2026, the village of Jougne in the Haut-Doubs will host its Bourse Militaria. This event dedicated to collectors and military history enthusiasts brings together specialized exhibitors and amateurs for a day dedicated to the purchase, sale, and exchange of military objects and documents from all eras.
Exhibitors offer a wide range of items related to military history: uniforms and military effects, insignia and decorations, regulation weapons and accessories, military documents and archives, military photographs and postcards, field equipment, scale models, and military history books. The fair features collections covering all periods of French and world military history.
Jougne (25370) is a remarkable village in the Haut-Doubs, nestled at 1,000 meters altitude in the Jougne pass, one of the historic passages of the Jura massif between France and Switzerland. Located 19 km from Pontarlier and only 4.5 km from the Swiss border, Jougne was an important toll station in the Middle Ages on the France-Italy route. The village is now a winter sports resort (downhill skiing at the Piquemiette site) and a starting point for hiking and cross-country skiing in the Forest of Joux.
Jougne is accessible from Pontarlier (19 km) via the N57 towards the Swiss border. The village is located in the Jougne pass, on the road to Vallorbe (Switzerland). Parking is available in the village.
