PEEP Toys, Clothing and Childcare Fair in Geudertheim

A spring fair in the heart of the Kochersberg

The Toys, Clothing and Childcare Fair in Geudertheim is organised each spring by the local section of the PEEP (Federation of Parents of Public Education Students). It is held at the village multipurpose hall, easily accessible and ideally located to welcome numerous families from north of Strasbourg, the Kochersberg and Lower Alsace. The concept is simple: depositors entrust their items in good condition to the fair, which sells them on the day on behalf of private sellers. Families go home with treasures at low prices, while sellers recover the proceeds after deduction of a commission that finances activities and outings for children of Geudertheim schools.

A wide choice for the whole family

Visitors will find at this fair an eclectic and carefully selected range: children's clothing from birth to adolescence, shoes in all sizes, childcare items (strollers, bouncers, car seats, travel cots, high chairs, baby carriers), toys for all ages (early learning games, board games, figurines, dolls, soft toys, construction games), children's books, DVDs, bicycles, scooters, skis and sports equipment. PEEP volunteers welcome families in a convivial atmosphere and offer light refreshments on site with coffee, drinks and homemade cakes prepared by parents.

Geudertheim, a village in the Kochersberg

Geudertheim is an Alsatian commune located north of Strasbourg, in the Brumath canton, close to the Zorn valley and the Haguenau forest. Characteristic of the Kochersberg and rural Lower Alsace, this village of nearly 2,500 inhabitants retains its traditional Alsatian architecture with its half-timbered houses and Protestant church.
