Bourse aux Armes Anciennes de Villeneuve

On March 16, 2025, the Foyer socio-culturel Raymond Audouard in Villeneuve-d'Aveyron hosted the second edition of the Antique Arms Fair, organized by the association Passion Mécaniques Militaires 44 de l'Aveyron (PMM44). In this heated hall located in the heart of the oldest bastide of Rouergue, collectors and military history enthusiasts met from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM for a day dedicated to antique collectible weapons.

Exhibitors offered a fine selection of items: regulation antique weapons (pistols, rifles, revolvers from all eras), edged weapons (swords, sabers, bayonets), military uniforms and headwear, French and foreign decorations and medals, regimental badges, hunting items, and specialized books. The exchanges between experienced collectors and amateurs discovering this world were rich and fascinating, in a friendly atmosphere enhanced by the on-site refreshment bar and light catering.

After a successful first edition in 2024, this second Antique Arms Fair has confirmed the event's place as a specialized gathering in Aveyron. The Bourse aux Armes Anciennes de Villeneuve will return on March 29, 2026, at the Foyer Raymond Audouard. Collectors and military history enthusiasts from Aveyron and all of Occitanie are invited to this unique event in the exceptional setting of this medieval bastide.
