Edition 2024 — Boulevards de Chines
On May 9, 2024, Ascension Day, the Boulevards de Chines once again enlivened the boulevards d'Alsace and Bancel in Valence. The dozens of professional antique dealers and flea market vendors present offered thousands of visitors a selection of furniture, objects, and curiosities of all kinds. The Place des Arts brought together painters, sculptors, and ceramicists on the places des Clercs and des Ormeaux for a popular ephemeral art gallery.

Looking back at Boulevards de Chines 2024
On Thursday, May 9, 2024, residents of Valence and visitors from across the region flocked to the boulevards d'Alsace and Bancel for the annual Boulevards de Chines. From 8:30 AM, the stands of flea market and antique professionals offered a remarkable panorama of antique furniture, decorative objects, and curiosities from all origins.
The Place des Arts, on the places des Clercs and des Ormeaux, hosted a selection of contemporary artists—painters, sculptors, and ceramicists—who exhibited their works in an open-air gallery. This artistic dimension, which has become inseparable from the event since 2017, attracted a large and diverse audience, including both flea market and art enthusiasts.
The next edition is confirmed for Thursday, May 14, 2026, Ascension Day.
