Chine in the wooded setting of the Picard cliffs
Bois de Cise is a place apart on the Picard coast. This hamlet in the commune of Ault, built from the end of the 19th century as a resort in a wooded valley descending to the sea, still retains a unique character today made of Anglo-Norman villas, forest paths and a breathtaking panorama of the Channel. In 2026, La Dynamique Aultoise offers its July edition on Sunday July 12.
Bois de Cise has been classified as a picturesque site since the beginning of the 20th century.
La Dynamique Aultoise animates local life in Ault and Bois de Cise through various cultural, festive and associative events.
The brocante welcomes individuals and some professionals. Some exhibitors offer objects linked to the seaside history: postcards, Belle Époque souvenirs.
Coming to the Bois de Cise brocante means treating yourself to a full day in maritime Picardy.
The commune of Ault is a former city of fishermen.
