This village of 355 inhabitants, located at an altitude of 394 meters in the foothills of the Pyrenees, is nestled 16 kilometers northwest of Saint-Girons, the sub-prefecture of Couserans. Far from the urban hustle and bustle, this spring car boot sale offers an authentic and friendly interlude in the heart of the Ariège foothills.

The Betchat flea market is a gathering for bargain hunters from the village of Betchat, in Couserans-Pyrénées, Ariège (09). Traditionally organized in the village center and under the village hall, it brought together exhibitors and bargain hunters around clothing, linen, crockery, antique tools, books, and furniture, with on-site catering.
