The 2025 edition of the Bénévent-l'Abbaye flea market and car boot sale took place on Friday, August 22nd, in the streets of the town. Exhibitors offered country furniture, earthenware, copperware, old books, tools, and curiosities at the foot of the Romanesque collegiate church of Saint-Barthélemy. From 7 am to 6 pm, bargain hunters strolled through the alleys of this abbey town in northern Creuse, enjoying the remarkable heritage setting and the summer atmosphere to find their treasures.

Looking Back at the 2025 Edition
On Friday, August 22, 2025, the streets of Bénévent-l'Abbaye came alive for the annual flea market and car boot sale. At the foot of the imposing Romanesque collegiate church, the stalls offered bargain hunters a varied assortment of items: country furniture in oak and cherry wood, regional earthenware, patinated copperware, old books, tools from bygone trades, embroidered textiles, and curiosities of all kinds.
Visitors, coming from all over Creuse and neighboring departments, enjoyed the exceptional setting of this abbey town for a day of outdoor bargain hunting. The town's shopkeepers provided food and refreshments, while the more curious completed their visit by discovering the Saint-Barthélemy collegiate church and the Jardin de Bénévent. A successful summer edition, true to the friendly spirit of Creuse flea markets.
