Benet toy bourse

Each late November, a Benet local association runs a two-day toy bourse. Especially loved by families preparing Christmas on a budget and by hunters after old or vintage toys. 2025 edition: Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November 2025; 2026 edition expected late November.

Same principle as clothes bourses: private sellers deposit toys beforehand (with tags), the association handles the two-day sale, commission funds the association. Win-win: toys get a second life, community life is supported.

Christmas differently

Toy bourses meet growing demand: buy cheaper, more responsibly, give objects a second life. For a modest budget, parents can offer several gifts or top up a list rather than buy new. Vintage toys (Playmobil, Lego, dolls, collectibles) also attract adult collectors.

Benet (3,700) runs several bourses and flea markets yearly: APEL spring flea market, Port d'Aziré summer flea market, October clothes bourse, November toy bourse. A nice calendar for year-round hunters.

Tips

Arrive at Saturday opening for best choice; cash; return Sunday for possible last-minute drops; collectors should look for old toys and games (80s-90s now vintage).
