The Belle Brocante du Gabut brings together seasoned antique dealers and flea market sellers who offer a curated selection of retro furniture, unusual objects, old books, vintage posters, folk art, and curiosities from all eras.

Located at 2 quai Louis Prunier, a stone's throw from the La Rochelle Aquarium and the Gabut district with its colorful wooden houses, the Esplanade Éric Tabarly offers a unique panorama of the Minimes marina and the outer harbor. Treasure hunters stroll among the stalls, enjoying the sea air and Atlantic light, in one of the most beautiful spots on the Charente coast. On Sunday mornings, the atmosphere is both relaxed and passionate, between informed amateurs and curious strollers.

Unlike car boot sales for individuals, the Belle Brocante du Gabut only brings together professional exhibitors, guaranteeing consistent quality and diversity. You can find anything from a 1950s armchair to a collection of old postcards, a lot of rare vinyl records, or an industrial light fixture. Regulars know they have to arrive early to find the best treasures, as exhibitors set up their stalls from 7 AM.

The Belle Brocante du Gabut is open from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM every 2nd Sunday of the month, all year round. Entry is free. The Aquarium parking and port parking lots are accessible nearby. The esplanade is easily accessible by bike thanks to the Yélo network of La Rochelle.
