Grand annual spring flea market in Limoux, in April, in the Aude valley
Every April, Limoux hosts its Belle Brocante de Printemps, an annual event that marks the return of good weather for flea market enthusiasts in the Aude valley. This day or weekend of treasure hunting brings together local and regional dealers, offering a selection of antique furniture, collectible items, tableware, trinkets, and curiosities.
Limoux (11300) is a town of about 10,000 inhabitants nestled in the Aude valley, 25 kilometers south of Carcassonne. World-renowned for its Blanquette — the oldest sparkling wine in the world according to local tradition — and for its millennial carnival, Limoux is also a town of commerce and culture, with a rich associative life. The Promenade du Tivoli, the medieval city center, and the banks of the Aude offer prime locations for outdoor events.
During the Belle Brocante de Printemps, exhibitors offer a wide range of items: antique and period furniture, tableware and earthenware, paintings and prints, trinkets and curiosities, old books and postcards, silverware, antique toys and games. The diversity of stalls allows everyone to find something they like, whether they are a seasoned collector or simply an admirer of beautiful pieces.
Limoux maintains a strong flea market tradition throughout the year, with its monthly flea market at the Promenade du Tivoli on the first Sunday of each month. The Belle Brocante de Printemps is part of this landscape as an annual highlight, offering a more festive and extensive dimension on the occasion of the spring renewal.
Limoux is accessible from Carcassonne via the D118 (25 km). Parking available in the city center and around the Promenade du Tivoli.
