About BCC Cernay Garage Sale

The Basket Club Cernay (BCC) Garage Sale is a spring event held every May 1st in the industrial town of Cernay, in southern Haut-Rhin. Open exclusively to private sellers, this friendly event allows local residents to clear out their attics and offer second-hand items in a festive atmosphere. Bargain hunters and passers-by gather for a day of discovery among clothes, toys, books and all kinds of knick-knacks.

BCC Cernay Garage Sale, a May Day tradition

The BCC Cernay Garage Sale is organized every year by Basket Club Cernay (BCC), one of the town's most active sports associations. Taking advantage of the May 1st bank holiday, the club offers local residents a selling and exchange space reserved exclusively for private individuals. Children's and adult clothing, toys, books, records, crockery, tools and decorative items make up most of the stalls.
