Bazoges-en-Pareds, a small Haut-Bocage village between Chantonnay and La Châtaigneraie, holds its annual garage sale each spring. Run by APES (the parents' association) on Sunday 7 June 2026, it gathers private sellers and a few pros clearing attics and garages onto the central squares.

From dawn, stalls spread out: crockery, knick-knacks, clothes, toys, books, records, small furniture, tools, retro or fully vintage decor. The event keeps a human scale, true to village sales where you come as much to chat as to hunt.

A characterful Haut-Bocage village

Bazoges-en-Pareds is more than just a browse stop. The village is famed for its striking 14th-century keep, a listed Historic Monument, and its reconstructed medieval garden. Many visitors extend their morning with a site visit or a walk in the surrounding bocage.
