Open from 6 am for visitors and 5 am for exhibitors, this event welcomes individuals and professionals in a green setting, in the heart of the Norman city of William the Conqueror. Food and drink are available on site throughout the day.

The BASC Flea Market: the big meeting for Falaise bargain hunters

Every year in June, the Parc de la Fresnaye in Falaise hosts the grand flea market organized by the BASC association (Brocante Antiquités Souvenirs et Collections). With 200 to 300 exhibitors spread throughout this vast tree-lined park located on rue Georges Clemenceau, this event has established itself as one of the unmissable events in the flea market calendar of Calvados.

Parc de la Fresnaye: a green setting for bargain hunting

The Parc du Château de la Fresnaye offers an exceptional setting for this outdoor flea market. The shaded alleys and lawns host hundreds of stalls where antique furniture, tableware, trinkets, books, vintage clothing, toys, and collectibles of all kinds are found. The atmosphere is that of a large popular festival, conducive to discoveries and good deals.

Well-established organization by the BASC association

The BASC association, located at 2 rue des Prémontrés in Falaise, organizes this flea market with proven expertise. Professional and private exhibitors are welcomed from 5 am for setting up their stalls, while visitors can access the site from 6 am. Prior registration is mandatory at a rate of 4 euros per linear meter, and forms are available from the association.

Falaise and its Norman heritage

Falaise, a sub-prefecture of Calvados, is world-renowned for its ducal castle, the birthplace of William the Conqueror. The BASC flea market is an excellent opportunity to discover this historic city, its ramparts, its churches, and its Automata Museum, before or after a day of bargain hunting at Parc de la Fresnaye.
