The 2025 Barnabé festival brought the village of Coutières to life with its morning flea market, pétanque competitions, mechoui and the traditional Saint-Barnabé bonfire. A countryside gathering enjoyed by the inhabitants of the Gâtine.

2025 Edition Review
The 2025 edition of the Barnabé festival delivered on all its promises in Coutières. From early morning, the flea market attracted the first bargain hunters to the village streets, while outdoor activities continued throughout the day: pétanque, children's games, producers' market and nature exhibitions.
The country lunch and evening mussels and chips brought villagers and visitors together in a festive atmosphere. The Saint-Barnabé bonfire concluded this wonderful day. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Saturday 6 June.
