Barbâtre Summer Flea Market

Browsing on Noirmoutier Island

Barbâtre is the Noirmoutier Island gateway, connected to the mainland by bridge (toll only in high season) and the Passage du Gois, a legendary submersible road crossable at low tide. About 1,900 year-round residents, population multiplies tenfold in summer. The summer flea market is one of the season's awaited events: browsing by the ocean in this exceptional setting has special charm.

Via Noirmoutier bridge (from Fromentine/Beauvoir-sur-Mer) or Passage du Gois (low tide only). Parking in Barbâtre village.
