The Authentic Orbey Flea Market, a treasure of the Munster Valley

The Authentic Orbey Flea Market is one of the most popular summer events in Haut-Rhin. Organized by the Orbey Animation association, it takes place every summer in the streets of Orbey village, transforming the commune into a vast open-air market. Around 130 private exhibitors set up their stalls from 7am, offering a carefully selected range of antiques and second-hand treasures: delicate porcelain, vintage fabrics, dolls and antique toys, as well as crockery, trinkets, books, clothes and vintage tools.

Orbey, a mountain village in the Alsatian Vosges

Orbey is a commune of around 3,500 inhabitants nestled in the Munster Valley on the heights of the Vosges massif. Known for its hiking trails, mountain lakes — including the famous Lac Blanc and Lac Noir — and its preserved natural environment, the village attracts hikers, cyclists and families looking for fresh mountain air in summer, just a few kilometres from Kaysersberg.

Orbey Animation: a dynamic local association

Orbey Animation runs this event with the logistical support of the Kaysersberg Vignoble Tourist Office. The flea market is their flagship summer event, a moment of conviviality that brings together exhibitors and visitors in a relaxed and warm atmosphere. Food and drinks are available on site. Entry is free for visitors, who can enjoy the day in the alleyways and squares of Orbey village.
