Car boot sale organized by the Société Chorale et Cavalcade d'Aureilhan at the Jean Jaurès Center
The Cavalcade Car Boot Sale takes place at the Jean Jaurès Center, 3 rue Jules Ferry in Aureilhan (65800), from 8am to 6pm. Organized by the Société Chorale et Cavalcade d'Aureilhan, a historic association founded in 1888, this event helps fund the construction of floats that parade through the town's streets each year. Individuals sell clothes, toys, tableware, trinkets and everyday items in a festive and popular atmosphere.
The Société Chorale et Cavalcade d'Aureilhan, founded in 1888, is one of the oldest associations in the commune. Throughout the year, its volunteers build around ten monumental floats that parade through the streets of Aureilhan to the sound of brass bands and street performers. To fund this popular tradition, the association organizes a large car boot sale at the Jean Jaurès Center, at 3 rue Jules Ferry, from 8am to 6pm.
A commune of over 7,500 inhabitants adjacent to Tarbes, Aureilhan is known for its cavalcade, a flagship event that brings the village to life each year with decorated floats and street entertainment. The car boot sale organized by this iconic association brings generations together around the joy of bargain hunting. Visitors find clothes, toys, books, tableware, trinkets, small furniture and decorative items, while the Cavalcade volunteers ensure a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The Aureilhan Cavalcade Car Boot Sale returns on Sunday April 26, 2026 at the Jean Jaurès Center, 3 rue Jules Ferry. 8am to 6pm. Free entry.
