The 2025 edition of the Ascension Flea Market of Bosmoreau-les-Mines took place on Thursday, May 29th, on the square in front of the Town Hall and in the multi-purpose hall. Organized by Les Amis du Musée, this day brought together outdoor and indoor exhibitors for a friendly flea market from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors could combine treasure hunting with discovering mining heritage with a visit to the Mining Museum and a rail-bike ride on the old coal railway line.
On Thursday, May 29, 2025, Ascension Day, Bosmoreau-les-Mines hosted its traditional flea market on Place Jean-Baptiste Deville, in front of the town hall, and in the multi-purpose hall. Les Amis du Musée organized this day which brought together private and professional exhibitors, offering flea market items, antiques, trinkets, and second-hand objects both outdoors and indoors.
From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., bargain hunters enjoyed this event in a village with a rich mining past. The Mining Museum, retracing coal mining from 1784 to 1958, and the Mining Rail-Bike, covering 10 km on the old coal railway line in the Thaurion valley, offered complementary activities. The refreshments and catering, provided by the association, with paellas available on reservation, contributed to the festive atmosphere of this Ascension Day in Creuse.
