A car boot sale in the heart of the village
Every year, the Arthesia association of Rabastens-de-Bigorre organizes its large car boot sale on the Place de la Libération or under the village covered market hall. Exhibitors, both private individuals and professionals, offer clothing, ornaments, crockery, books, toys and collectibles at bargain prices.
Rabastens-de-Bigorre, a lively market town
Located about twenty kilometers north of Tarbes, Rabastens-de-Bigorre is a bastide town founded in the 13th century. Its historic center retains a beautiful grain hall and a central square perfect for markets and events. The Arthesia association helps to energize the cultural and community life of the town with its regular car boot sales, attracting residents from surrounding communes.
