The Arignac car boot sale was held on Ascension Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Place de l'ancienne mairie. Around 45 private exhibitors offered their items from 8 am to 6 pm on 4-meter pitches for 6 euros. Rustic furniture, crockery, tools, clothing, and trinkets were found on the stalls of this charming village in Ariège's Sabarthès, attracting local visitors and tourists passing through the upper Ariège valley.

Recap of the 2025 Ascension Car Boot Sale
On Thursday, May 29, 2025, Ascension Day, Arignac hosted its annual car boot sale in the Place de l'ancienne mairie. Some 45 private exhibitors set up their stalls from 7:00 am, offering bargain hunters a fine display of Ariège's attic treasures: rustic furniture, farm crockery, old tools and utensils, books, clothing, and trinkets.
The Place de l'ancienne mairie, in the heart of the village, provided an ideal setting for this day of treasure hunting under the Sabarthès sun. Visitors, coming from Tarascon-sur-Ariège, Foix, and the surrounding villages, browsed the stalls from 8 am to 6 pm, taking advantage of the public holiday to take their time and make some great discoveries. The event is confirmed for Ascension Thursday 2026.
