Organised by the Parents' Association of Jan et Joël Martel public school, this flea market celebrates its 26th edition in 2026 - a record of longevity testifying to its local roots. Sunday 5 July 2026 in the Équaizière park, a green haven in the heart of La Garnache.
117 pitches of 3 m × 3 m reserved exclusively for private sellers. Village vibe, attractive prices. Booking in advance at €10 per pitch. Public: 8am-6pm, sellers from 7am.

La Garnache, NW Vendée town
About 5,200 residents, 12 km southeast of Challans. Remarkable heritage with the 11th-century château de La Garnache ruins, one of Vendée's most important historic sites (Wars of the Vendée stronghold). Saint-Pierre church and beautiful marsh farms.
The school honours the Martel brothers, Art Déco sculptors born here (war memorials, fountains, reliefs).
Tips
Arrive early for best finds. Picnic if weather allows or use the on-site refreshments. Extend with nearby Challans, the Breton Vendée marshes or beaches (Fromentine 20 km).
