Spring car boot sale organized by Avenir Olympique Bozoulais in the heart of Bozouls, a village with a famous Aveyron canyon
The AOB Bozouls Car Boot Sale is a spring event organized each year by the football section of Avenir Olympique Bozoulais, a multi-sport association grouping 14 affiliated clubs. The event takes place on Allée Paul Causse, near the Bozouls social center, from 8 AM to 12 PM. Individuals and families set up stalls to offer bargain hunters all sorts of items at low prices. In case of bad weather, the car boot sale is moved to the village hall. Bozouls, a village of nearly 3,000 inhabitants perched on the Causse Comtal, is world-renowned for its spectacular horseshoe-shaped canyon, the "Trou de Bozouls", carved by the Dourdou over a diameter of 400 meters and a depth of 100 meters. It is classified as a Natural Sensitive Area and has been awarded Tripadvisor's Travellers' Choice for eight consecutive years.

Bozouls is an Aveyron village of nearly 3,000 inhabitants, located on the Causse Comtal, about twenty kilometers northeast of Rodez. The commune owes its international fame to its extraordinary geological curiosity: the Trou de Bozouls, a natural horseshoe-shaped canyon carved by the Dourdou into the limestone of the causse. With its 400-meter diameter and 100-meter depth, this natural cirque offers a striking spectacle. Classified as a Natural Sensitive Area, it is home to remarkable biodiversity, including the Eurasian Eagle-Owl and the Peregrine Falcon, the world's fastest raptor, which nest on its cliffs.
Beyond the canyon, Bozouls boasts quality architectural heritage. The Sainte-Fauste Church, perched on the rocky spur in the heart of the horseshoe, overlooks the dizzying green void of the canyon and offers one of the most photographed panoramas in Aveyron. Wooden walkways allow visitors to descend to the bottom of the Dourdou gorges and discover its natural richness through educational panels. The site has received Tripadvisor's Travellers' Choice award for eight consecutive years, highlighting its tourist appeal.
The AOB car boot sale offers the classic range of items found at Aveyron events: clothing and shoes for the whole family, toys and board games, books and comics, tableware and kitchen utensils, DIY and gardening tools, trinkets and decorative objects. Prices are negotiable, and bargains are plentiful, especially for early birds who take advantage of the opening at 8 AM.
The car boot sale takes place from 8 AM to 12 PM on Allée Paul Causse in Bozouls. Entry is free for visitors. In case of bad weather, the event is moved to the village hall. Bozouls is easily accessible from Rodez via the D920, about a 20-minute drive. Parking is available on the outskirts of the village. Visitors can extend their morning with a walk along the canyon and enjoy the village's shops and restaurants.
