Annual flea market and car boot sale by the Comité des Fêtes de Bras-sur-Meuse, a village north of Verdun
The Comité des Fêtes et de Loisirs of Bras-sur-Meuse organizes its annual flea market and car boot sale at the end of August on the town hall square and in the village streets. From 7 am to 5 pm, exhibitors and visitors gather in a friendly atmosphere for a day of treasure hunting at the entrance to the Verdun battlefield.
Located just 6 km northwest of Verdun, Bras-sur-Meuse is a village whose history is intimately linked to the Great War. In February 1916, the German offensive began with a deluge of artillery that destroyed the village. The municipal territory was integrated into the defense line during the Battle of Verdun. The village was only rebuilt from 1919 onwards. Today, Bras-sur-Meuse is part of the Communauté d'agglomération du Grand Verdun.
A popular feature: pitches are free for all exhibitors. Only a security deposit is required for non-resident exhibitors. Registration is done online, facilitating organization. Refreshments, food, restrooms, and parking are available on-site, ensuring a pleasant day for everyone.
