The Marengo schoolyard offers a shaded and friendly space for this car boot sale day. Exhibitors, exclusively individuals, offer clothing, toys, books, crockery, and various items. Vehicles can park within the grounds, facilitating setup and unloading.
For the benefit of basketball
The proceeds from the event are donated to the Roanne basketball club, contributing to the financing of equipment, competition registrations, and the activities of the basketball school. Roanne, a renowned basketball city, thus perpetuates its link with this popular sport.

The annual car boot sale of Basket de Roanne returns on Sunday, July 5, 2026, in the courtyard of Marengo school (place des Minimes, Roanne). Organized by the Basket de Roanne club, it brings together fifty to a hundred private exhibitors who come to hunt for bargains and sell second-hand items, clothes, toys, books, and crockery. Free entry for bargain hunters, refreshment stand and catering on site.
