Ascension Day car boot sale on Boulevard Jean Louis Bonnassieux in Panissières
Panissières, a lively town in the Monts du Lyonnais, hosts a car boot sale every year on Ascension Day. Organized by the AMRP (Association des Manifestations et Réjouissances Panissièroises), this event takes over Boulevard Jean Louis Bonnassieux, the main street of the town, for a day of outdoor treasure hunting.
The car boot sale is reserved for private sellers, ensuring an authentic offering of bric-a-brac, clothing, toys, crockery, and various items. Pitches are charged at €2.50 per linear meter, an attractive rate that encourages participation. Sellers can set up from 6 am.
The AMRP offers a varied catering service on site throughout the day: tripe, fries, hot dogs, sandwiches, and crepes satisfy all appetites. A refreshment stand is also present. Coffee is offered free of charge to exhibitors, a gesture appreciated by all.
Located on the border between the Loire and Rhône departments, Panissières is a dynamic town in the Monts du Lyonnais. Its position as a crossroads between Feurs, Montbrison, and Lyon makes it a busy thoroughfare, ensuring good attendance at the car boot sale.
