The Aiguerande-Peillon Citizens' Council Brocante is a neighbourhood event organised by the citizens' council, a participatory democracy body representing residents of the Aiguerande-Peillon neighbourhood in Belleville-en-Beaujolais. This local brocante allows neighbourhood residents to offer antique furniture, crockery, knick-knacks, books, clothing and various items at open prices. It fosters bonds between neighbours and helps animate this residential area of Belleville. Belleville-en-Beaujolais, the capital of Beaujolais on the Saône

Belleville-en-Beaujolais is the administrative and cultural capital of Beaujolais, a town of around 10,000 inhabitants located on the right bank of the Saône, between Lyon and Mâcon. At the heart of the Beaujolais vineyard, the town is surrounded by vine-covered hillsides producing the famous Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages appellations.
