Every May, the Association des familles de Charenton brings together over 100 private sellers at Place Aristide Briand for a family-friendly garage sale. In the heart of the town, between the metro and the Seine, this event has become a must-attend spring gathering in Charenton-le-Pont.
The AFC Garage Sale: a family event in the heart of Charenton
The Association des familles de Charenton (AFC) has been organising its annual garage sale on Place Aristide Briand for several years. This popular family event brings together between 100 and 200 private sellers each spring, who come to clear their cellars, attics and cupboards in a spirit of conviviality and sharing.
Place Aristide Briand, accessible directly from rue Victor Hugo, provides an ideal setting: outdoors, well served by public transport, it allows all bargain hunters in the area to come together in an open, lively space. Visitors enter free of charge and can enjoy rides and entertainment alongside the market stalls.
AFC Garage Sale — edition 2026
The Association des familles de Charenton garage sale is confirmed for Sunday 10 May 2026 at Place Aristide Briand. Over 100 private sellers expected from 8am to 5pm. Seller registration: €22 for 2 metres, bookings open from early April. Free entry for visitors.
