The ADAPEI Car Boot Sale: Bargains for a Good Cause

Each year, ADAPEI of Corrèze opens the doors of the IME of Puymaret in Malemort-sur-Corrèze for a solidarity car boot sale. This event, traditionally held in the spring, offers the opportunity to rediscover or discover the pleasure of exhibiting and hunting for bargains while doing a good deed. The profits contribute to the operation of ADAPEI's establishments and services, which support children and adults with disabilities on a daily basis.

The IME of Puymaret, a Place of Welcome and Sharing

The Medico-Educational Institute of Puymaret, located at 34 rue Denis Papin in Malemort, usually hosts children and adolescents with disabilities. For one Sunday, its outdoor and indoor spaces are transformed into a vast treasure hunting ground. Stalls are set up in the courtyards and pathways of the establishment, creating a pleasant route through a green and calm environment.

A Car Boot Sale Open to All

The car boot sale is open to private sellers who wish to get rid of their unused items: clothing, toys, books, dishes, small furniture, decorative objects, and bric-a-brac. Pitches are offered at €2.50 per linear meter, an accessible rate that encourages participation. Registration can be done online on the ADAPEI website or at the association's secretariat.

ADAPEI of Corrèze, a Committed Association

ADAPEI of Corrèze has been supporting people with disabilities and their families for decades. The association manages several establishments and services in the department, including the IME of Puymaret in Malemort. The car boot sale is a highlight of the association's year, a moment for the general public to meet the ADAPEI teams, in a spirit of solidarity and conviviality.
