The 48h of Vintage Vehicles: the meeting place for enthusiasts in Uzerche

Every third weekend of July, the La Peyre development in Uzerche transforms into a huge village dedicated to vintage vehicles and bargain hunting. Organized by the association Uzerche Auto-Rétro, the 48h of Vintage Vehicles brings together nearly 300 exhibitors from all over Nouvelle-Aquitaine and beyond for two intense days of mechanical passion and good deals.

Exchange fair, exhibition, and direct sale

The event is divided into several complementary areas. The exchange fair allows enthusiasts to find spare parts for vintage cars, motorcycles, and miniatures. The exhibition showcases vintage vehicles of all makes, from cars of the 1930s to youngtimers, as well as motorcycles, trucks, tractors, and exceptional vehicles. A direct sale area offers the opportunity to buy or sell vintage vehicles directly. The large car boot sale complements this offer for bargain hunters who appreciate mechanical finds as much as everyday objects.

Uzerche, the Pearl of Limousin

Nicknamed the Pearl of Limousin, Uzerche captivates with its exceptional site perched on a rocky promontory overlooking the Vézère. Its medieval towers, noble houses, and picturesque streets form a remarkable setting that adds to the charm of the event. The town has a rich architectural heritage with the Saint-Pierre abbey church, the Bécharie gate, and numerous mansions from the 16th and 17th centuries. Visitors to the 48h can combine their passion for automobiles with a discovery of heritage in an enchanting setting.

A spectacular raffle

On Sunday afternoon, the raffle is one of the most anticipated moments of the event. The first prize, a 2CV fully restored by the association's members, makes enthusiasts dream. Refreshments and light meals are available on site throughout the weekend, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the two days.
