Chéniers, a village in the Pays Dunois

Located between Guéret and La Souterraine, Chéniers is a typical village in the Pays Dunois, in western Creuse. Surrounded by pastures and woods, this rural village retains a Romanesque church and granite houses characteristic of the Limousin heritage. The annual flea market has become the main event of the commune, attracting attendance far beyond the size of the village and making Chéniers famous well beyond the department's borders.
