The Plaine-d'Argenson garage sale stands out for its two-day format, giving visitors time to browse all the stalls without rushing. The exhibitors, mainly individuals from the commune and surrounding areas, offer a wide range of everyday objects: clothing, crockery, toys, books, small furniture, garden tools, and a thousand unexpected finds.

Plaine-d'Argenson, born from the merger of several communes, offers a typical landscape of the Mellois plain. The village retains a modest but endearing built heritage, with its limestone farms and wash houses.
