A flea market for the national holiday

14 July is traditionally a big village celebration in Cucuron. The Comité des fêtes organises a large-scale flea market stretching from the boulodrome to the alleys of the perched village. The event attracts far beyond Cucuron: valley residents, second-home owners, tourists all converge.

Cucuron in summer

Cucuron in midsummer lives to the rhythm of its pond: terraces lining the water, shaded by immense century-old plane trees, form one of Provence's most photogenic sights.

Two locations

The boulodrome, at the village entrance, offers flat space for bigger stalls. The village heart hosts smaller stalls in alleys and squares, allowing visitors to discover Cucuron's heritage while hunting.

An early start

Starts at 7am — morning coolness is precious in July, and the best pieces go early.

What to find

Mostly private sellers plus some professionals: bric-a-brac, Provençal tableware, linen, clothing, toys, books, records, small furniture, regional pottery, glassware.
