The Val d'Aulnay jumble sale is organised each late June by the Amicale Aulnay in the magnificent Vallée-aux-Loups Woodland Park, at the entrance near the Maison de Chateaubriand. Vallée-aux-Loups: a natural and literary gem of Châtenay-Malabry
The Vallée-aux-Loups Woodland Park is one of the most remarkable natural spaces in Hauts-de-Seine. It is home to the Vallée-aux-Loups Arboretum, a remarkable botanical conservatory, and above all the famous Maison de Chateaubriand, where the Romantic writer lived from 1807 to 1818 and wrote much of his Mémoires d'outre-tombe. Now a departmental museum, it stands in enchanting grounds of centuries-old trees.
The Amicale Aulnay jumble sale
The Amicale Aulnay ([email protected]) organises its annual jumble sale in the park, near the entrance at 87 rue de Chateaubriand. Stalls spread among the trees, offering clothes, furniture, toys, books and everyday objects. Visitors come to browse but also to enjoy the beauty of the site, many extending their visit with a stroll through the arboretum. The Mayor's aperitif at 11:30 brings together elected officials and sellers. Free entry.
