Neighbourhood brocante at the Cours du Commerce of LaVallée eco-district, organised by ADHEL
LaVallée eco-district is one of the most remarkable urban projects in the Paris region, built on the former Châtenay-Malabry School of Pharmacy site. Designed around sustainable and participatory urbanism, mixed housing, energy performance and urban biodiversity, it is a model for contemporary urban development. At its heart, the Cours du Commerce is the district's pedestrianised, green-lined commercial spine.
ADHEL (www.adhel-lavallee.fr) represents the LaVallée resident community and organises collective events including the annual brocante — a moment for neighbours to meet, clear out their homes and strengthen community bonds in the collaborative spirit of this eco-district.
Each late June, residents of LaVallée and Châtenay-Malabry set up stalls along this vegetated pedestrian street, offering clothes, furniture, toys, crockery and various objects in a spirit of sharing and reuse. The Mayor's aperitif at 11:30 brings together elected officials and residents to celebrate the life of this growing neighbourhood. Free entry.
Sunday 21 June 2026.
Cours du Commerce, LaVallée eco-district, Châtenay-Malabry (92290).
