Every year in August, the Pétanque Montponnaise club organizes its car boot sale at the Base de Loisirs de Chandos, a vast natural area located by the lakes of Montpon-Ménestérol. This car boot sale, open to all individuals, is distinguished by its operation without prior registration: simply show up from 6 a.m. with €2 for the spot.

The Base de Loisirs de Chandos is a landscaped natural area on the banks of the Isle river, including lakes, picnic areas, walking trails, and sports facilities. This site, popular with families from Montpon and visitors, offers a green and shaded setting for the summer car boot sale. Avenue André Malraux provides access to the site, which is easily accessible by car.
